Have you ever been angry with God?

Divided Thigh's thread regarding whether it is wrong to ask "why" brought a question to my mind. I know my opinion on the answer, but I'd be interested in your input...........

When we went through all of the infertility treatments many years ago, I became very angry with God. I never stopped loving Him. And I never really wanted to write Him out of my life. But I was ANGRY!! Very angry!

A good friend, who is also a pastor, said to me one time that if I was angry with God, I should tell Him so. That God would rather hear me say to Him that I was angry than not to hear from me at all.

So what do you think? Does God understand when we get angry with Him? Are we in grave danger when we're angry with God?

Simple answer: Yes. I yelled at Him. (from the privacy of my empty house) I'm glad He didn't see fit to strike me down.

And wasn't there another thread like this here, some months ago, I could'a sworn I'd already posted my answer on this., hmmmm..maybe it was elswhere.
ANYWAY, I get mad at myself, the stupid things/decisions I make/have made, and GOD has done so much for me already that He didn't have to do, I can't complain, nor blame.

People in general need to quit looking for blame elsewhere other than self, we OWN our situational consequences, its time to grow up, smell the coffee., and quit looking back.
GOD is sovreign and He does as He wills., sometimes that includes not answering our prayers in the way we want. Remembering that only He knows best is highly recommended.
PERIOD.
He is NOT Santa Claus, not a genie, not like anyone else we will ever know.
I love Him as He is just as He loved me as I was., and will continue to love me, forever & ever amen.

Yes, folks that are honest will most likely tell you they have been angry with God before. Should they tell Him. HE KNOWS!

But I think you should confess it and tell Him why you feel this way. And then ask Him to help you with your anger.

When you have calmed down you will realize He knows best. But too often we think of Him as santa claus, although many cases that is not the case.

He is the giver of life. So when you want a child and see others that have a child kill theres it is very, very hard to understand and not become angry.

When you lose a love one that you hold dear and see criminals living it can be hard to accept. But God is a loving God.

It is when we trust Him even when He doesn't seen to make sense in YOUR world that you grow in Him.

I spent several years being angry at God, even doubted His existence because of my anger.

In my case, it wasn't right, but I do believe God gives us latitude to question him, within reason.

Not saying it is right or wrong. Just human. He made us. He knows us.

But no matter what we need to get over it and not go to bed with wrath!
