Tremendous service Sunday Night

Sunday night Missionary Hugo showed slides of his mission work in Paraguay and I showed a bunch of different pictures of people around the world...the presence of the Lord came down so sweet and we took up an amazing offering for Paraguay and a little mission church up in the desert of Brazil...the offering in your money was almost 300 dollars! An amazing amount for us here and especially at the end of a conference...people gave everything they had in their pockets...one brother has some homemade CD's he sells (his singing) he didn't have any money so he put his cd's in the offering for us to take and sell for missions!

Some of the pastors and their wife's came to where I was at they wept so hard that my skirt and blouse was wet with their tears...

Even though there are many hard times we go through things like that make me know it was worth spending my life on the field.

God is good...we love and appreciate you homeland folks so much.

I would have to loved to been there as I enjoy sunday night service,but they changed my schedule at work,at now I only get to make sunday school.
If I want a sunday off I have to request it.
I'm glad the manifest presence of God was in the house.

Weeping...........Sister Alvear, that is so beautiful. From your writing, I can "see" the service in my mind. God is so good!! I thank God for your husband and you and for all that you're doing for the kingdom of God! Only heaven knows the hardships and sacrifices you have endured throughout the years (I'm sure you don't see it that way). But.......I thank God that He cares enough to remind you this weekend that it's worth it all and that it's not in vain. (like the song says, "what you do for Jesus, it's not in vain".)

Pray that I can raise 200 dollars I want to help them stucco their little church to help it be some warmer it is sooooooooooooooo cold...those people just shiver during the services.
we are going to put glass in the windows with the money we raised here and if they could stucco it I am sure it would help some...please pray....I love these people so much.

I wish I were young again...I love the mission field...with all it's problems and many times doing without...I still am in awe Jesus called me to His fields...I love HIM so much.

I love this report! That just shows that the anointing flows from the head down to the people. The missions burden you have has passed on down to your congregation. Lord, bless them for their sacrifices!!!

I am still amazed at so many tears....if we can someway pass the burden on we really never die!
