Opinions

Jesus was born of Spirit when he was born. He was born once without sin, so He need not be born again

We are born with sin. We need to be born again (this time by the Spirit). We need to born a second time

Born again means exactly that - "A second birth"

That sounds like it would hold water.

Re: Was Jesus born again?

I think he was. Right after telling Nicodemus that a man must be born again he tells him in John 3:11 NIV Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

It sounds to me like Jesus knew about being born again and was testifying of having seen it happen. Thats just my opinion though.

The only hint of a second birth of Jesus is in His resurrection, not before He spoke to Nicodemus:

Act 13:33 KJV God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Re: Was Jesus born again?

If he is the FIRSTBORN from the dead he was born again from the dead.

This is the full version of being born again.

Re: Was Jesus born again?

It is awesome how Acts shows the apostles interpreting Psalm 2 as the resurrection when they spoke of THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE. I had a great time ministering on that one Sunday here in church.
