A Pitiful Observation
Reading Brother Berkely's thread I have concluded the following:
It's okay to be a liar, a cheat, a thief and a slanderer just so long as you keep building holiness fences. Some folks love their fences (standards) more than they love Jesus. They have no problem failing Jesus, as long as the fence stands.

Your conclusions are delusional
Seriously......there may be some who fall into this category, but me thinks you paint with broad brush. Imho such problems are the same on both ends of the spectrum con/lib. There are some cons who are liars, cheats, thieves, and slanderers, and there are libs that do the same things.
And by the way......some libs love their liberty more than Jesus too....just saying

I agree.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: A Pitiful Observation
The commandments were given by God to help man from being a victim to his on doings and to keep him from affecting the lives of others that they would not have to suffer ill as a result of one or more acts of just plain stupid decision making... Setting off a chain reaction that would soon affect all.
