Cracker Barrel: We screwed up big time
“We were flat out wrong."
That’s the message Cracker Barrel is sending to enraged customers after the restaurant chain removed Duck Dynasty items from its stores over fears it might offend people.
“Our intent was to avoid offending but that’s just what we’ve done,” Cracker Barrel said in a statement posted on its Facebook page. “You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren’t shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings.”

So... how do you know if you're supporting the Robertson's, or A&E when you buy their merchandise? My husband just bought a hat with DD on it... and he is not one to wear these kinds of things, but he wanted to be supportive of their stand. I am wondering though, if his purchase actually went to A&E instead of the Robertsons. Anyone know?

We had a Christmas dinner last night. They used large mason jars for table decorations. It was a nice effect but I had to joke that they were purchased through the Duck Dynasty Catalog...

I believe the Robertson's own brand, which is not connected to A&E, is call "Duck Commander." The A&E licensed merchandise is anything with the trademarked "Duck Dynasty" brand.
The local Lifeway Christian Bookstore has a lot of DC products - devotionals, DVDs, books, and other trinkets.
