Do some research. There are many such examples out there. It is stunning you act like such a know-it-all and yet can be so easily disproven on so much.

Speaking of Sonny Bono, I couldn't find anything about Bono being the "ultra-liberal" you claim he was. Nor could I find the Paul Harvey feature "How a Hippie Became a Conservative."
What I found is that Bono didn't become a registered voter until he was 53. He got into politics after an issue trying to put a sign on his restaurant. He then ran as a Republican and remained a Republican until his death.
Since you made a big deal about this, I'd like you to post your proof that Sonny Bono was, as you posted, "an ultra-liberal," because I haven't found anything to support your claim. I don't believe he was an "ultra-liberal." Being a hippie does not equal being an "ultra-liberal."

If anyone else has any proof to support Originalist's claim, please post it. I'm not afraid of being wrong on an issue, so by all means, please prove me wrong. If anyone knows more about Bono and his political leanings, please post about it.
