Bible Texts

It seems there are two main sources for Bible Texts, correct if I'm wrong.
  • Byzantine
  • Alexandrian

I believe the KJV derives mostly from the Byzantine Texts.

I also believe the LXX (Septuagint) derives from the Alexandrian Texts.

Which Texts do the Dead Sea Scrolls support?

Which Texts were favored by the Catholics.

Which Texts were favored by the reformers?

Re: Bible Texts

There are not 2 main sources for Bibie texts.

The LXX are not exclusively one text type.

The DSS do not represent one text type.

Current scholarship questions if we should group similar manuscripts into text types at all.
