Is footwashing a heaven or hell issue?

It seems many of our upci church's no longer particpate in the footwashing ceremony,
The UPCI headquarters believes in foot washing. It is part of our Articles of Faith.

John 13:14-17 (KJV)

14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

I have heard about them and the other clan of UPC Epleys in Ark. But never have got to meet any. I sure would like to. My family is from Kentucky.

We're not UPC either but we do footwashing.

Bro Epley was originally from Arkansas, he was for real, he and his wife would fast for 35 days at a time, he also prayed for and was used to heal bro Barnes was sick..God used that man mightily only heaven knows his Reward now!

I dont believe its an ordinance. Nonetheless if someone is doing footwashing and asks me to I do.

The late CF Bro Epley also prayed for my wife after a surgery when her bladder detached her from lining, his prayer and jesus reattached her bladder to the wall..
it blew the minds of 13 nurses and the doctor who was to perform surgery. The doctor promised to come to church but never did.
As far as the footwashing goes..
when I see something in Gods Word that means something rather serious; like footwashing, I usually take more of "better obey it, than not" stance. Unless it's well proven its not an ordinance.
