What do you think about the Mormon sect in Texas
Just wondering what people think about the Mormon sect in Texas that had all the children removed by Children's Protective Services?
Any one want to comment?

You can just give one broad statement on all Mormon polygamous. Obviously none of them are GOD's Holy People, but then again, there are no triniatarians that are part of GOD's Holy People. There are polygamous Mormon groups that are cultic and abusive and polygamous Mormon groups that are trying to live out the fundamentals of the Mormon faith.
Also, there's no prohibition of polygamy in the Bible, and the barring of polygamous men from being elders and deacons and bishops could have an interpretation no one expected... Perhaps GOD does not want men with multiple wives to hold those positions of leadership because HE understands their job, as men of many wives, is to take care of however many wives and children they have. I do believe every man who is able to be an elder, though, should seek to hold that position.
GOD BLESS!
Bro. Alex
PS- I DON'T believe polygamy is the ideal, neither do I want to practice it, but there's the other side.

There is nothing to be said of your logic or biblical understanding...

Exactly!
In fact, when I was at lunch, CNN was running the story, and before I knew what the story was, I thought the ladies going into the courthouse were UPC or Apostolic.

They looked neither Apostolic or UPC to me, they looked like they were from another century or from Little House On The Prairie.
I am UPC and Apostolic and I don't dress that way or do my hair that way. I will go back to my Mom's generation and she was UPC to the core, she did not dress that way nor wear her hair that way. I will go back further to my grandmother who was also UPC to the core, she did not dress that way nor wear her hair that way.

I've been watching Larry King tonight and it's very sad. These children are without their mothers and must be very frightened. However, they're discovering 16 year old children with several children of their own.
Their idea of love is very sick and perverted. As much as I want separation of church and state, when children are being abused, it is our moral obligation to step in and save them. In a couple years, the kids won't remember and will be healthy productive citizens.
By separating themselves from the outside world, basically they continue this vicious cycle with the next generation after generation. Very sick indeed.

WHY????????????
Prov 29:2
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. (KJV)
