Me and my wife were married when she took on my name... if you've taken the name at baptism, then your married. The next step was to consummate the marriage, Christ comes inside you when you receive the Holy Ghost.... after that the affair is complete.

Excelent question.

I think in behtrothal marriages the bride to be took the name of the husband also. 2Cor. 11:2-3 says we are espoused to Christ.

The bride took on the name of the groom at the time she accepted his proposal in biblical hebrew culture. Not after they 'consumated the marriage'.

She said "yes" and they were married. If he died before they 'consumated the marriage', she got all his stuff and she was a widow.

: He has married them to only one husband now in the flesh so satan will not trick them into fornacation that he may present them as a chaste virgin to Christ.2Co:11:2: For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ

This is the resurrection and when we are married to Jesus.Rev.19:7: Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8: And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9: And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God

I'm sorry, but I failed to see where it said that it was the Resurrection, could you please point it out where it said that?
