Being on Time?
Is it really that important to be on time to work, church, etc.
I mean as long as we show up whats the problem. We're giving. we're involved.
At work I jump in (when I get there) and do my job.
15 min. maybe a 1/2 hr shouldn't be that big of a deal right?

Drives me nuts!
If you say you are going to be there at a certain time, then be there at that time!

It is my opinion that if you are consistently late for church, it is a sign that there are idols in your life.
That of course doesn't apply to people who may have jobs that prevent them, or other emergencies.
I mean chronic latebugs.
I actually mentioned this while teaching Wednesday night.

...or that YOUR time is more valuable than anyone else's. It's just rude to be habitually late.

An Idol is something that you put in a place higher than God.
Serving God, and assembling together when you can (within reason) should be important to us.
Being late and or on a consistent basis means that Church/God isn't that important.
JMHO Though.

An Idol is something that you put in a place higher than God.
Many have put the Church, Pastor And Org. before God.
Church is not God.
I refuse to be a mindless church zealot.

You are correct to a point.
It is a place where we saints gather together and worship God, be taught of him, and serve others.
Everything may be going great in your life, but perhaps a Brother or Sister would benefit from your attendance?
