Our First Vacation Bible School in Northeast Brazil
Vacation Bible School
Sister Alvear asked me to post this for her here as she is not feeling well today.
Sister Amy
According to official government statistics, 1000 children die from hunger and malnutrition each day in Brazil. So working with children is very important in our country.
October in Brazil we celebrate Children’s day at our church. We give out little presents candies sometimes make cakes etc. It is a very exciting time of the year for our children.
This year Sister Amy Santos and I have begun planning something very special that will not only be for our children but for families in general.
Sister Amy directed a few years back a vacation Bible school at her home church in the states, called Holy land Adventure Galilee by the Sea. We have decided to do this to enrich our children’s and people’s Bible knowledge. As usual I am writing for your help but am not writing for money. Some of you may have done this before at Sunday school or Vacation Bible School. Sister Amy is going to copy the things we need and paste them here and if in your Old Sunday school material you would happen to have any of the followering crafts we would deeply appreciate your help. We are going to try to make this a type evangelization to our whole village.
Blessings to all you folks who help us carry the load...Without your help we could not do what we do in missions...
Thank you very much.
