Freedom--being set free
What contributes to ones freedom? We know the freedom we have from being Americans (for those of us that are). Those north of the border or just beyond the borders know the freedoms Americans have. Thank God for what we have. I believe America is the greatest country in the world but I am biased cause I have never been anywhere else.
America is also suppose to be a christian nation. There are those that stand and throw darts at others and the darts are religious ones. The hit and they hurt. Considering the US is a Christian nation at the same time we are the most screwed up too. We have the most people addicted to porn, meth and other issues. The Holy Ghost is a freer. It can tear asunder any issues that are issues. There is still blood good enough to wipe away every sin and every stain! With all that power in the HG and tons of people having the HG why are there still so many issues. The pastor in CO that fell into homosexual sin and drug abuse. Think for a minute you will think of others and many of them have the HG w/ tongues being the evidence but still make mistakes and fall. It is as simple as not watching where they are walking so they fall or is it that they still hold to issues that they are asking forgiveness for like an indian giver?
Where is that key at? At salvation we give up everything for God or do we. If God gives us the HG he would not give it to an unclean vessel right? Going under that mindset is it as simple as one turning again to that sin or is it that they never let it go? I have heard preachers for years say things like "the reason you fight certain things is because you didn't leave it at the cross when you got saved." If that is the case then why would those people receive the HG or did they actually receive it? I don't believe there are different levels of the HG. I think you get it you got it until you get rid of it or walk away from it. What say ye about this? Where does psuedo-freedom actually become real freedom? Where does that REAL free dominion come in and acutally be freedom?
