All I'm saying is that is a known problem within COGIC - - take time to read these two links and maybe that will shed some light.
It's a problem with all races, however, COGIC knows they have a problem and are trying to address it.
Neither of these links have factual or documented research. One is Donnie McClurkin, basically, preaching (What kind of things would we dig up from our own ranks like this), and the other is a hit piece against a leader who supposedly is taking holiness out of COGIC. They said the same things about Kenneth Haney.
It sounds like a stereotype ... only founded on personal anecdotes.

Yes, they do. I'm dumbfounded by what I'm reading here. I did the, "Say it ain't so, Joe" thing and was told, "It's so." This is brutally disappointing.
But evidently what you or I say doesn't matter because we don't "Pay the bills" as I was told. I wasn't aware that "Paying the bills" gave one the license to say such foolish things.
Characteristics of Offenders Who Violate and Assault Children
According to the Survey of Inmates of State Correctional Facilities by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Statistics, the following statistics have been recorded concerning the characteristics of offenders who violate and assault children.
* Those inmates who were convicted of committing violent acts against children were more like to have been white, a percentage of nearly 70%, than any other race.
* White inmates were nearly three times more likely to have victimized a child than black inmates.
* About one in every seven Hispanic convicts had been convicted for a crime against a child.
* Nearly two-thirds of convicted child molesters and/or offenders were or had been married.
* Child molesters and offenders were more likely to have grown up in a two parent home and were more likely to have been molested as a child.
* Approximately 22% of child offenders reported having been sexually abused as a child.
I don't have much more to say, but I will say this. I do happen to know of several preachers who happen to be white who have gotten exposed in homosexual liaisons. However, there is no way that I would have come in during the threads we had here about Ted Haggard and made that observation. It would be immaterial to me because I also know of people of every race and creed who have been involved in similar things.
I don't have any problem discussing problems in the black community. I just don't see how this can be presented at all as a black preacher problem. It is unfortunately too big of a problem in too many places in too many people of all races.
