Nope, you're wrong. Anybody who sings, back-to-back, the words, "Can't" and "Nobody" deserves to be sat down!!!

YES!!!!!!!! Thank you!!! That's #5 on the nomination list. I'm almost ready to do the poll.
And this reminds me of "He's God on the platform". God help us. What a stupid song.

Re: Worst Song In the History of Christianity
probably not sung much in Apostolic Churches,
unless you follow Bro. Gordon MaGee's advice and sing
"God in Christ Jesus, blessed unity"
instead of
"God in three persons, blessed trinity"

NOW, how you gonna be relevant without using broken english? Relevance is more than torn up jeans.

I've heard the "He's God on the platform" i like the music with it, but the lyrics could stand a complete makeover. "hes God on the platform, he's God at the back door, He's God (somewhee else-I can't remember) he's God all over the floor" Really, who wrote that and why?
And "devil don't want" needs to be number 4!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Worst Song In the History of Christianity
not bad for a trinity song
YOUR NAME IS HOLY
One
You are the sovereign I am
Your name is holy
You are the pure spotless Lamb
Your name is holy
Two
You are the Almighty One
Your name is holy
You are the Christ, God’s own Son
Your name is holy
Three
You are the Father and Son
Your name is holy.
You are the Spirit who’s come
Your name is Holy.
Four
You are the First and the Last
Your name is holy.
The future, the present, the past
Your name is holy.
Five
Your name is higher than all
Your name is holy.
Jesus, for mercy we call
Your name is holy.
Chorus
In Your name, there is mercy for sin
There is safety within
In Your holy name
In Your name, there is strength to remain
To stand in spite of pain
In Your holy name

He's God in Kentucky
He's God in Tennessee
He's God all over creation
And He's God all over me.
God is God and He don't never change
God is God and Jesus is His Name. (not all churches sang it this way)
I think the verse you're thinking of is
He's God on the platform,
He's God back at the door,
He's God in the amen corner
And He's God all over the floor.

I think it all started with the Oakies
"He's God in Oklahoma, He's God in Tennessee, He's God right here in (name of your city) and He's God all over me"...
Then we got
"He's God in the Father, He's God in the Son, He's God in the Holy Ghost and all these three are one"

- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
