Please. Bickle uses impressionable young adults, has them pay almost $5K for his IHOP school. They aren't allowed to leave the building without permission from an IHOP minder. As part of their "schooling" they have to spend countless hours in the non-prayer prayer room.

Even Bickle's brother had an issue with his teaching and handling of the students before he died.

I haven't even mentioned the sex slave murder which happened at that IHOP. Where one of the musicians killed a married girl whom the group passed around as a sex slave.

But I guess I don't have a clue or know anything. Right.

Do Christian Colleges charge money? Of course. I consider it a waste of money to go to any pay for learn Bible College.

Who pray tell FORCES young Christians to go to them? Does IHOP force people off the street to come there? No. They come because they feel IHOP has more to offer them than the Church they go to which is probably almost always correct.

Where is your PROOF that one may not leave the building without permission?

Never said they were forced, I said Bickle uses their youth and naivety against them. They feel they are going to do some great work and end up working like slaves.

All the UPC Bible schools are accredited. IHOP is not. Besides that, IHOP can't be compared to any real college or university. It's run by Bickle and all about Bickle.

Working like slaves? IHOP presents it as a spiritual boot camp. They know what they are getting into. If one dreads prayer, Bible study, fasting, and witnessing for Christ it would be a good place to avoid.

As I recall the killer was not a musician at IHOP. Don't know where that came from. The group you refer to ran their own group apart from IHOP tho evidently the leader was also attending there.

You make it sound like IHOP is running a sex camp. If true it would be all over the Evangelical newcasts.

He says we pray to God the Father on the throne...but we also pray to God the Holy Spirit inside us. He teaches we should focus on the light while saying 5 repetitive phrases.

IHOP claims they were separate, but he and his group was listed as an IHOP group...until the murder.

Christian Apologetics Research ministry is led by Matt Slick. A slick talking Evangelical who I myself have debated on Paltalk. He also claims Oneness Pentecostals are a cult.

If you recall this thread started as a video by Misty Edwards. I forcefully defend Misty. She is the most dynamic Christian musician I have ever seen. Now perhaps I come to that conclusion because her life has been the most transparent of any Christian musician I ever heard of.

After watching her music and hearing her speak over the years I stand by that.

As to IHOP when I started watching them I read tons of internet articles many written by "Apologetics" groups and former interns. No doubt I have researched it far more than you have.

In these stories IHOP is usually painted as a cult because of the teaching of total commitment which they call "works". Again before they come they are told it will not be easy on their flesh.

Obviously anyone can leave IHOP if they want to. It happens all the time.

My association with IHOP is like my association with Oneness groups. There are certain things in which I agree with them. Then again there are areas where IHOP is deceived just as there are areas where most Oneness Churches are deceived. I promote the truth as I know it.

As to Macarthur I find nothing to agree with him on.

With the occultic roots of both would you say that Churches which promote them are "new age"?
