Re: Healthcare is not a right

The Constitution doesn't bestow rights. However, it recognizes them.

That brings me to a question....

Since the Constitution only "recognizes" God given human rights, are there rights that we have that are not yet recognized by the Constitution?

Democratic socialism is so terrible... My friends and family in Canada, and my love's friends in Europe, are just so, so, so bad off. Man, I just don't know what they're going to do! LOL

That is not socialism. The government does not own the means of production.

Like having someone else pay for your healthcare?

Trump just announced that people are getting on board with his health care plan and they are predicting premiums will drop by 10% very quickly

My companies parent company is in Spain. With divisions in Hungary, France and Turkey.
Any of the people that I work with would be happy to be a US citizen.
And Canada.
Yep, I have relatives there and from there.
Take the US out of the equation and their lives would be dramatically different, in a worse way.

I don't believe it, sorry.

This GOP bill is obamacare lite. There's a reason Trump and Ryan had it under lock and key and refused to allow anyone to read it. It's a terrible bill, certainly not much of an improvement over bummercare.

Oh, I don't doubt there are benefits to being an American. As of right now though, family and those I know in Canada wouldn't come to America if you paid them. And if you ask them if they'd rather have America's healthcare system (including the Obamacare abomination) they will just laugh at you. lol

And if you're an American traveler, you can almost feel the tension in the air because we've become rather unpopular.

I have made it clear that the nations of western Europe are not true socialists, but are free market economies with giant welfare states that the people are willing to yield up to 80% of their income to support. But they have same effect as socialism because people become less and less productive.
