Christian Baby Murderers

I had so much fun with the self-defense poll, I thought I'd push the envelope some more . . .

Looks like I am first up to bat!

I do not believe in any abortion. However, the bible says that the life is in the blood. where there is no blood there is no life. (I think...maybe...)

so the pill, when it stops a pregnancy before blood cells form, has not killed an innocent human life.

I think it is a personal decision between you and God. In cases of severe malformations that will likely result in death, I would not judge any parent who decided to have an abortion. Again as to birth control, it's between you, your spouse, and God. I would only use a barrier form, but don't know if it's truly a conviction or just that I don't like the synthetic hormones in my body. I'm not going to say it is right or wrong for someone else.

Psalms 127

1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. 3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

You may be right, Ferd. It is an interesting thought.

The trouble with this concept is that it may be logically taken down the "slippery slope" until only that which can survive outside the womb is considered "human life," which puts us right where we were in the 70s with abortions approved for the first trimester and then the second.

If 90+ percent of all humans are to spend eternity in endless torment, and if children die before the age of accountability they are saved, why restrict any birth control?

This is not my position, just asking the question!

Because you are accepting, condoning, or abetting sin, in the form of murder, in and to the spiritual detriment of the accountable population for the sake of the unaccountable population.

It's jumping off a bridge so your kids won't.

Christians should actively discourage sin. The plan of salvation is for all, not just the tiny and innocent. Such a notion is discordant.
