Let's say you are correct. What do you think that mythical story means in the Bible, and what happened to the real or mythical people who may or may not have existed prior to that story?
I do believe in past stories that represent a Great Flood of some kind, like the tsunami that pummeled Japan and Indonesia.

But just imagine that happening 5000 years ago. Embellishing stories like these would happen, as modern forms of discovery did not exist.

Galileo Galilee, and his observations of our Solar System is a perfect example of how time and history has changed, via the discovery of the facts.

I do believe that some happenings might not be accurate. In regard to the flood, I have always been puzzled as to the mention of the rainbow being placed in the sky as a sign that God would never flood the earth again. We know from history that earth has been flooded in certain areas throughout time, however, a rainbow cannot be 'placed'. In fact, it was still raining when they saw the rainbow, so that makes even less sense to me.

I believe the earth was flooded. However, I don't believe the earth existed as it is today. I believe land was one massive area, not separated into continents as they are today. I also believe that the flood started the separation of land into continents that occurred over the last 6+ thousand years. Or longer.

I was actually curious as to whether or not you believed Noah even existed or if anyone else did either.

I think he was watching a different show, not Mythbusters. Those guys tend to do things like seeing if there's a difference between using a four-way stop or a roundabout at an intersection or if one can really polish a t**d. (The answer to the last is, if you do it the right way, the answer is YES.) So far as I know, they've never tackled alleged Biblical myths.

You know, you condemn everyone on this Forum for not interpreting a "Word" correctly. Now, you can't spell or read.

Go look at my post and see what "Word" is said after "Myth".

Noah and the Ark is a Myth, and no scientific evidence supports this event. I started this Thread over 4 years ago, and no one, not one person can prove it happened. Go back and re-read the facts, if you so dare.

That's the problem with Religion. People can use Spectral Evidence to validate their lies and get away with it.

It would be nice to see Pelathais again.

Jesus fed over 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes... nothing is impossible with God.

Aquila, you were part of this debate. You never concluded that this event was in fact, a fact.

I can say anything to support my false ideas, using Scripture to support such Theories.

You have to wonder: Why don't miracles of the Old Testament happen today? Embellishing stories of the past has always been a problem to future Generations.
