I was incorrect on my answer to you earlier. He is in NICU. She kept saying, "He's in the "cue" and I had no idea what that meant." My children don't like you to ask them questions when they are stressed out. I've been waiting until she is ready to talk about whatever.

I also have no knowledge of anything having to do with a hospital. The only thing I do know is that the elevators are up for inspection on my birthday. I did notice that. LOL!

Update today: He is not going home. They went home last night to clean and get the house ready, but he had 8 episodes last night. The doctors read the tapes and said that he never stopped breathing during the episodes when his oxygen level dropped, which is good news. He has lost some weight and is down to 6 lbs. 10 oz. I think that is pretty normal for a newborn to lose some weight.

She and her husband will both be taking a CPR class on Monday and they may possibly release him them. We shall see. They've ordered an elevated pillow to put in his crib as he must sleep in an elevated position.

My husband and I were able to put on scrubs and go into NICU to see him last night. He is so cute! Looks nothing like the last picture I posted, so I will be deleting that. I think she had her phone too close to his face or something. LOL!

PO, I'm sooooo glad that you got to see your grandson

I know that the joy in that experience had to have been immeasurable!! We can't wait to see more pictures. Continuing to pray for him.

I was waiting until I had a more definite word.

He isn't home yet. He didn't pass the car seat test this afternoon. He may get to go home on Wednesday, but will have to be transported in a bed type seat. He will also have to wear a monitor.

Please pray for my daughter. She is rung out. She said, "I'm tired!! Why is this happening to me?!!! Why won't God heal him? We prayed and prayed!!!!"

She's a little more calm this afternoon after talking to the doctor, but was very upset earlier after he didn't pass again.

The doctor told her that there is no sense in staying at the hospital. It will take a couple of months for him to get better or he could be better in a couple of weeks. She would be doing the same thing at home that they are doing in the hospital.

I think they will be released on Wednesday. They are going to go over the monitor tomorrow until she is comfortable with it. They have completed the CPR classes just as a precaution.

I'm tired and wound up like a kite myself. I've been ripping out my kitchen floor and that has helped with the stress. LOL!

Please pray. He just had another episode. His heart rate went down to 70 and his oxygen went down. My husband is on the phone with her. She is crying and saying, "I can't help him."

Please pray. They took blood and said something has to be wrong because he didn't cry.

Please Jesus! Please save him!!

Jesus - right now, we bring this baby before you - You knew him when he was formed in his mother's womb. You know all the intricate details of his little body - we are asking you right now to touch his body and knit the broken organs and vessels together - make him every whit whole - IN JESUS NAME!

And we ask you to please touch his mother and daddy - let the peace that passeth all understanding flood them RIGHT NOW !!!! Give this grandmother peace and wisdom - strength to be a support to her children! We thank you because YOUR peace is sufficient for every situation!
