I don't have an actual performance of it to post but here are the lyrics;
I am Charistmatic, charismatic through and through. If you don't believe it I will sprinkle charismatic dust on you!
I am Charistmatic, believe in the sinners prayer. All of our women really love God even if they cut their hair!

The whole premise of this song is preposterous. Speaking as one who is a part of the "oneness" movement,and not for it; Our movement has lost it's focus. Our focus needs to be on the CROSS, not on US. We would have a lot less problems if we'd keep things in perspective. When will our people learn that this is all about HIM and not us or our denomination.

Okay well I was not going to bring this up....but.. since the cats out
this is totally true... And this is what so many people see.. folks loving their doctrinal view, more than thier God.... this song typtifies that...
I know oneness pentecostals love God... I am not saying that. But this song has nothing to do with Jesus... reminds me of the ole "We're a Happy People" song

Ya know being a pentecostal woman in the work place I have to say this.
Maybe just maybe after days,weeks or months of being criticized by the world
because you are pentecostal it just might be fun to go to church and rejoice over it.
I say let them party.Heaven will be a great big wonderful place.

The dress code promotes the "us against them" mentality OP's have regarding not just the "world" but other Christians.

Sorry Brother but I was charismatic and the same stuff goes on.Its not just the dress code.Its the lifestyle they hate.I work in a place full of foul mouthed people.Just the lack of a foul mouth will get you looked at wierd.Plus probably
the disgusted look on my face when its happening not to mention the fact that
I do attend company parties alcohol free.I refuse to let the devil push me out of being able to be a witness.

Additionally OP's typically pride themselves on being the more elite in nearly every scenario... much like the song we have here in this thread

I agree with you 100%. I mean think about it....what you think if a person started singing a song with a title, "I am a druguser" or " I once killed a man" or " I am an atheist"????? Those are as stupid as a song that says "I am a pentecostal," IMO. I am a pentecostal and proud that I am, but I am not going to sing a song to glorify a denomination or a movement. That is just plan stupid to have a song like that, IMO. It automatically puts the defense up that says "I am a pentecostal" and you aren't and I am better than you. IMO

I doubt if this song bothers anybody as bad as it does the folks who really have a little bit of an inferiority complex about being, or having been, Pentecostal.
