I honestly think the sponsors are too smart to be personally involved in these type of antics ... although I could be wrong ...

but this type behavior is implicitly encouraged among their underlings/footsoldiers

He went on to talk about positions that might be available in the new ORG.

The person that received the call is VERY close to me...it's a relative. he wouldn't lie.

He got the call encouraging him to come to the meeting in Tulsa AND also to not renew his dues. If he would agree to this BEFORE going to the meeting, he would be invited to attend some "formation meetings"

Wow sounds like a boycott of the org is their first measure and if that doesn't work form a new org.

Whoever is engaging is this type of behavior must've felt they had AUTHORITY to offer positions in the new organization ...

Yeah it sounds like that to me. I know of a pastor(non UPC) that sends a guy out from his church selling frozen foods into (UPC) territory to search out the land and see if there be any sheep wanting to jump fence. Again unethical but very wise!

Sound so so political,I've known politicians in gov't to offer jobs for support but this ,all I can say is What next?

Ummm did you read what I posted, because I think i wrote this twice.
THE CALLER IS LEAVING THE UPC. HE IS ENCOURAGING OTHERS TO LEAVE WITH THEM

He has close ties to one of the sponsors, like he works for/with one of them
