I recommend everyone take a Bible to work and read from it at break-time. I have done this in the past, at previous jobs, and the opportunity to minister and evangelize always comes by the grace of God, to draw all people to the Messiah. To God be the glory.

Amen Bro, Taking my Bible to work and not being ashamed of it opened many doors of witness for me over the years.

Night should be required reading for everyone in the west. I once missed a Shoah lecture he gave when I was a kid in Beverly Hills.
I did manage to chat with him once on Facebook.
We could use a few more people like him in our sad world.

A work of fiction by a known fraud? Are you serious?
Sadly, I suspect you are serious.

I am tired and so I will restrain myself.
Growing up in a Jewish neighborhood brings a certain awareness of the dark shadow that has past.
Elie Wiesel, humanitarian extraordinaire, has been and will continue to be a role model for my life.

Ask him about Deir Yassin. Humanitarian Extraordinaire? Role model? What, like George Soros? Maybe more like Joseph Goebbels?
smh

I am currently reading the book of proverbs in 150 translations.
it is a comparison reading, pretty interesting, most of them pretty much agree in the wording.

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
I finally finished SPQR: An Ancient History of Rome by Dr. Beard. I've also finished reading 1 Corinthians in my Reina Valera, and am currently reading 2 Corinthians. In my ESV, I finished Psalms and have moved into Proverbs. I'm still in Genesis in the NKJV. As for the NLT, I've finished the Minor Prophets, and have taken up Joshua.
I started reading The Social Contract by Jean-Jacque Rousseau, but put it down and decided to start reading The Purpose of Man by A.W. Tozer.
