I would surmise that he did not say the Emergent leadership, but the emerging leadership, as in those coming up in the ranks....but I wasn't there so I can't say for sure, but knowing Bro. Shock, he is my Pastor, I doubt he was espousing "The Emergent Church" as in the church where anything goes (except the old traditions) so folks can be helped so to speak.

Looks like the emphasis was DeacBlues as he said above and he did say emerging leaders.
