I post on a politics board a good bit and it is amazing the lenghts to which liberals will defend Sharia law and muslims wanting that here in America.

Steinway's airplane poll thread reminded me of this argument concerning Sharia Law.

It is being argued that the Jews have their law (Halakha) in place in America and it should be no different than having Sharia law implemented.

There is a huge difference between Sharia Law and Halakha Law. Islam is a missionizing religion and wants to apply Islamic Law to everyone. Judaism does not.
