My whole point in the beginning is that secrecy gives opportunity for crime (sin).
No one adds hours to their time card because it is done openly. Hours are added because they “believe” no one knows how many hours they work. Incorrect change being given back to you and not returned to the cashier, is done through the idea that no one knows. That is when Christianity should really be working, when no one sees and no one knows. Why wait for conviction to kick in? That indicates that the person had already decided to go through with the crime. To totally understand that Jesus hears everything, and personally sees everything we do. We do everything before Him, whether in the open or in secrecy.
