If a pastor who did not start a church takes said church and removes it from the organization that the founder put it in, that man is a thief!

If the organization is so bad and so wrong, go start a new church the way you want it!! If the saints form your flock follows you then so be it.

So the Foreign Missionary who baptized a whole Trinity Church is then a thief?!?

This logic is flawed as you present it.

The only problem with this line of thinking is this, the pastor can't remove the church from the org. There must be a business meeting and the people vote to leave the org therefore it ain't the pastor removing it. It is the church that is leaving.

How many do you expect to win with this new endeavour?

One church has been on TV since 1981 and they are not quite at 250,000 yet....

We are just looking at reaching more people in our town. We don't have number to put on it. If one is reached isn't that one soul worth it or have we come up with a figure on how much a soul is worth?

Let me try again.
My personal feelings are that if a man takes the pastorate of a well established church and then convinces the church to leave the original organization because of an amendment or something he doesn't like happens then I feel he has become a thief.

I feel that He should start new and if the flock follows great!
I also think the pastor should be honest with the flock about the true reasons to leave. But the people that are leaveing have been conditioning the people for a year to be ready to leave.

But lets be real with this .... how many of these churches will have enough information to make an educated decision.

The political side of this is that with a handful of key people they can convince the congregation to do what they want.

Ok, so by the same logic, I win the local AG (or Baptist or Lutheran) Pastor to God and he convinces his ENTIRE congregation to be baptized in Jesus Name. Their eyes are opened and they allow me to be the new Pastor-

Am I then a thief?

Or do I leave them alone and start a street meeting with four and let all that good fruit die on the vine with no new nourishment?

Again, your logic is flat wrong. If a man started a church and then fell in a moral sin, would the man coming behind him to bring that church back to the place of proper fellowship with God also be a thief?
