( Ps 7:11) "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day."
Well I could be wrong, but, since "with the wicked" was added by the translators, it could be a "private interpretation" by them.

Hey Eye Lady, (wink),
In the Bible, the word "hate" means "to love less". (:smiley)

Re: When God Hates a Man
I believe The Lord does hate the sinful state of fallen man,but does not hate the sinner.
God's will is for all to be reconciled to Himself, but all will not be reconciled to God due to some rejecting Christ.
The scripture says Jacob have I loved but Esau The Lord despised Esau's profane ways but I don't believe He hated Esau as a human being.
God loves but fallen man,but hates what original sin has done to the crown of His creation.

I may not have been real clear in my initial post. God hates all sin! In this verse it states that the man who God abhors (is angry/indignant with) will fall into some measure of immorality.
I do not think the scripture indicates that because God is angry with a man he will make/force him into immorality; rather it would indicate to me that because a man continues in some act/omission that is/are sin(s) that he invokes the anger/hatred of God which "uncovers" him if you will, leaving him vulnerable to falling.
Incidentally, the Hebrew word used here for "abhorred" is
za `am
1) to denounce, express indignation, be indignant
a) (Qal)
1) to have indignation, be indignant, be angrily indignant, be defiant
2) to be abhorrent
3) to express indignation in speech, denounce, curse
b) (Niphal) to show indignation, show anger

Yeah I understand PM, but you know the adultress and immoral women are symbolically used a lot in the bible for God's wrath and punishment. Right through to Revelations. And I understand why since Eve started it all not Adam.
