Al tried to make it racist for sure... I think maybe he was the one that started the boxer in the ring analogy with a throw in the white towel... and Pat obliged him with a "your boy" comment. They both continued with the boxer stuff.
At any rate, none of this is worth losing friends over IMO.

Not that I will actually get a response, but who really thinks that Pat Buchanan represents the Republican party or conservatives in 2011? Has he ever been elected to anything?
Pat is one guy who let a stupid comment slip out of his mouth in a conversation with someone who's made a good living out of being offended.
JD...you're judging a large group of people by the actions of one man...that's not prejudice, is it?

What I implied was terrible and should not have been aimed at everyone on AFF.
I've only met you once (I think), but from what I remember my anger would not be directed at you.
My frustration with who used to be my fellow Republicans can be compared to my frustration with denominal "Apostolics". Much of what the Republican party stands for I can agree with.
It's the other stuff (racial) that causes me to renounce being a Republican.
