No, he really doesn't have a whole lot of liberty. He sure cannot say that everyone except Arabs have evolved from apes and swine. Again, if that was a teaching in any masjid then the masjid would be filled with nothing but Arabs. No converts, because they are decedents of apes and swine.

Well, email him and ask him. That'll settle it  Could it be that culture is different in Iraq than in the masjid's you've experienced here in the states?

I remember him specifically saying this AND saying that it could NEVER be found written in a book, or in the media, or in any library, that it is an unspoken understanding among Arab Muslims .... they are elite, the chosen of God. They want to convert Americans, Christians, Jews, absolutely, but they still believe they are above any converts who are not of Arab bloodlines.

They can believe whatever they please as far as that goes, I'm not saying there isn't prejudice in some masjids. What I am saying is that you get the whole ape and swine thing from only three suras 7:166, 2:65, and 5:60, and it doesn't say that people other than Arabs evolved from apes and swine. It is specifically speaking about law breaking Israelites being transformed into apes and swine.
Just like the Mormons teaching on those who sinned turned black, doesn't mean all black people are black because of sin, and all white people are delightsome Nephi 5:21, 3 Nephi 2:12-15, 2 Nephi 30:6
But I will contact the individual and get his view on the whole shooting match.

You know more about this than I do, because I haven't read the Koran. So if I'm wrong, I'll be glad to be enlightened, and if what I'm sharing is what he said, then we'll both be glad Columbus took a trip... lol

I would never have connected Darwinism with Islam, but he made that connection as well, and said that Darwin "stole" his ideas from Islam...

Where did you get that quote? I always believed that his ideas mainly came from the belief of some scientists during his time, and from his grandfather, Erasmus Darwin?

The issue of Allah transforming people into apes and swine are taken from three verses in the Quran 7:166, 2:65, and 5:60.
These verses don't speak of everyone who is not Arab evolved from apes and swine, but only law breaking Israelites during the time of Moses were transformed into apes and swine. Not all Israelis were transformed into an ape or a swine, because Moses would of been standing around nothing but monkeys and pigs.
Also the Quran doesn't teach that all other races evolved from apes and swine?
Looking forward to hearing your views on these thoughts.
