JD, so race was a factor. All the acrobatics in your posts doesn't take away from the fact that the killer was motivated by his racism. You just don't want to deal with that portion, hence you are unwilling to just say "yes, the guy was always a racist" a nut job, psychological issues? Yes, but a RACIST with psychological issues.

I didn't call him that.
I said he came across as that in his post.
It (his post) was unnecessary (and inflammatory). Read it. I had already clearly addressed his initial question, he just didn't understand that I had. So he claimed I didn't answer his question.

It doesn't take mental gymnastics to comprehend that what happened in Charleston is a completely different kind of situation when compared with what happened in south western VA.

He asked what you meant by "not solely" and "just racial." You really didn't answer the specific question he asked. You rambled about cops, the church shooting and your opinion of the news shooting, but didn't really answer the question he asked.
BTW, had the man not been tracked and caught by police, he may indeed have shot more people. He had six mags of ammo in his car, along with a to-do list, which hasn't been publicly disclosed. All signs show this guy didn't plan on stopping with killing just his two former co-workers.
We don't really know who he else he would have targeted if he hadn't been quickly found and cornered before killing himself.
