When I was probably about 7 I was sitting on a pew with my pastor's kids and some other kids in our small church of about 50 people. All of a sudden without warning I accidently farted. The pews were wooden and the sound just reverberated off of that wood.

I was sitting on the end of the pew and thinking quickly I looked to the kid on my right as if he did it. Of course looking back on it my face was beet red and all of the other kids were all looking back at me so it was quite clear who the culprit was.

In our small church it was loud enough to bring the preaching to a sudden halt as the preacher and the congregation broke out in laughter.

And what would be the purpose of it, other than to destroy and eradicate the old fashioned way where people actually comment 'Hey, that's a good story! Reminds me of...'
