How can this be?

I might be wrong, but I took her comments to mean that there would be nothing gained by these men's departure.
Certainly there are good men left.
But losing men of this caliber can't be a good thing.

Perhaps, but she highlighted "What kind of progress do you envision without some of these men?" and answered "none". I think she was responded to what she had highlighted.

What is your solution?
Is it a Man we look to or is it God?
This is my conundrum concerning this thought...Why do we look to a Man to bring Healing and Not think that this may God working on or in this Organization to get it to a place where He can use it for his Glory and not Man's Glory?.....

To: I forgot who was responding to my post, Praxeus?
If the organization has more unity then it is healthier. A healthy living organism reproduces. So, the logical conclusion when folks on here say that the organization is going to be more united and healthier is that it will grow and reproduce new converts.
I can talk with some of the men leaving and have talked with them, it is obvious that very few conservative minded individuals are on this forum so I am addressing the folks with the "Boy, am I glad they are leaving mentality."
If these men leave the organization we will have fewer churches and pastors. So saying that you are glad they leave is saying that you are thankful the UPCI has less churches.

This kind of thinking baffles me.
You don't think the organization has had its place in God's plan and been fruitful and productive all along? Even with those of a more conservative mindset and those of a more liberal mindset too as part?
Every denomination has its strong left and right adherents.

I wonder if you are reading any of the posts. Any org. needs a unifying leader without a doubt but I don't think the UPC needs any special sort of "healer" right now than it ever has.
No "healer" in the world can bridge the philosophical gulf between the cons who are leaving and the mods / libs left. This did not happen overnight. This division has been growing for years and all the kings horses and all the kings men are not going to be able to put Humpty Dumpty together again.
Instead of repeatedly whining about the need for a "healer" why not think positiviely and understand that both groups can now move forward in unity?
