Hinn Family News Reports Confirmed by Ministry Executive

Don Price, longtime senior advisor to Benny Hinn Ministries, confirms reports in the news that Suzanne Hinn, wife of Pastor Benny Hinn, filed a petition for divorce in Orange County Superior Court on February 1, citing irreconcilable differences.

Price says, "Pastor Benny Hinn and his immediate family were shocked and saddened to learn of this news on February 17 without any previous notice. The couple has been married for more than 30 years, and although Pastor Hinn has faithfully endeavored to bring healing to their relationship, those efforts failed and were met with the petition for divorce that was filed without notice."

Mr. Price adds, "Both Pastor Hinn and the board of directors of the church ask for the prayers of ministry partners and friends as the Hinn family walks through this difficult season. Pastor Hinn also wants everyone to know that he remains firmly and unquestionably committed to God's calling—as he continues in his thirty-sixth year of ministry—to take the life-saving and miracle-working Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations through crusades, broadcasts, and mission outreaches."

None of us know what happened that led to her filing for divorce. Both sides will claim what they will and tell their own version and spin it their way. BH has the microphone and bigger pulpit, so his voice will be the loudest - as confirmed by his press release.

Only God knows.

Guys, did anyone used to play Monopoly, growing up?
There's a new version called Monopoly "here and now" where all they did was add a bunch of zeros to all the money.

Instead of getting $50 for landing on Boarwalk, now you get $500

the point?

I know many a colleague who stays in the best hotel room they can afford, drives the best they can afford, and has the best house they can afford.....I do it, and so do you (probably)

The difference between Pastor Benny's spending and mine/yours is many zeros at the end of the price tag

***disclaimer*** I don't agree with BG theology BUT I do 100% believe in the power of faith. The man knows how to create an atmosphere of faith where people believe they're going to get healed. The man takes LESS time to pick up an offering than in any service at General Conference. They spend two or three hours singing and worshipping....when faith is at it's peak, the healings start.

This is a great post & I totally agree with it! Maybe if Benny were bald and preached and pranced about yelling about this new doctrine of the Laying on of HAIR and the HOLY MAGIC HAIR doctrine - he would get more respect!

Where do we get it that a man has the gift to "create an atmosphere?"

Further, at what point should our ministers stop "climbing the ladder of success" with the servanthood called ministry, and quit adding zeros? We pay for "success" - great. We've mutilated, perverted and distorted the mission of God into a capitalistic, materialistic smorgasbord of lies.
