I will pray for comfort for Sis Ewing. He worked for her. She played the music, wrote the music and he sang it.

Re: Murrell Ewing is now singing with the Angels
Bro. Murrell Ewing sang at Sis. Nona Freeman's Homegoing service, one
year ago, Dec. 26, 2009, "I'm Home Now".
I'm Home now and nothing else matters,
Gone are the long, lonely years.
Home now, and the first One to greet me,
Is the One who gave everything, that I
could be here.
I purchased the DVD of her service and kept going back to
him singing, "I'm Home Now". Would be awesome if they
concluded his Homegoing service with a DVD of Bro. Ewing
singing, 'I'm Home NOW"!
Faith has now been turned into sight. What he had not
seen before, except by faith, has now become a reality!
Someone sent me a message that Bro. Ewing just went
to sleep in Jesus. Woke up in Heaven. What a way to go!

I agree Cindy. We need more men of the stature of these men and women of yesterday's era. But who wants to pay the price to have what they had?

Re: Murrell Ewing is now singing with the Angels
There aren't many of this caliber left - the dedicated - the genuine - the 'for real' kind. I remember "Saturday's Heros" and the sermon opening with the story about the little squirrel. There was no showmanship when he sang, but lots of anointing.
Our loss is his and heaven's gain. Praying for Sis. Joan and the family.

Do you know if that sermon is online anywhere?

Out of respect and deep admiration for Murrell Ewing, I'll pass on the almost unbearable temptation to comment. I'll just keep it at, "I'm thankful that many are paying whatever price required to do even greater things with the gospel than ever before."

Re: Murrell Ewing is now singing with the Angels
Eastwood Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles, LA, had an abbreviated New Year’s Eve Service this evening. There was some singing, Sis. Joan Ewing spoke from the pulpit, and then Bro. Mark Morgan preached.
Here are the funeral arrangements:
Visitation will be at Eastwood Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, January 4, 10 am – 2 pm
Funeral will be at Eastwood Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, January 4, at 6:30 pm
Burial will be Wednesday, January 5, at 11 am (Probably at Ritchie Cemetery, where Bro. Ewing’s parents are buried…his mother died earlier this year. The cemetery was not announced when the funeral arrangements were announced).

I agree, and for prophecy to be fulfilled even greater things will be done. I personally also believe that we are getting ready to face some hugh challenges. I truly hope I'm wrong.
