I want to thank God for my family, if it were not for a wonderful, loving, Godly family, I don't know where I would be.
In 1998 I suffered a nervous breakdown and was despondent to the point of being suicidal. If not for my family I would have been homeless, I didn't have a car and I was broke. They welcomed me home and loved me unconditionally, and helped me rebuild my love and trust for God.
Since that time, they have come to my rescue countless times, because of them my daughter has never had to suffer or want for anything vital.
Just this past week, I had a huge dental crisis, (huge, I lost one of my front teeth) and I do not have dental insurance. My parents loaned me $5,500 without any concern whether I would ever be able to repay them or not.
I now that I probably would have survived without them, but I thank God that they are in my life, and I didn't have to.
Everyone now "For every Mountain, You Brought me over, For every trial, you've seen me through. For every blessing, HALLELUJAH for this I give you praise!!"
Y'all got my spirit going with that song, so here it is...the bolded portion is what I am singing tonight...

A few years ago my youngest daughter was complaining of pain in her neck and back a running a high fever. Took her to the ER and they decided to run some tests, including a spinal tap. She said Mama I am not afraid because I know if I die that I am going to be with Jesus. Well she had viral meningitis, so they sent her to a bigger hospital and gave her meds to bring her fever down and to keep her from brain damage. She stayed 2 days and they sent her home. A short time later she started having seizures apparently caused by the meningitis, went to the Dr. and they put her on anti-seizure meds. She took them for a couple of years and then one day she said. Mom I stopped taking my meds. God has healed me. She hasn't had a seizure since.

several years ago, I had an accident. I fell and in the process my head snapped back and the back of my head actually hit my back.
I went to the hospital and the Dr. told my wife to prepare for a quadraplegic (sp) if I lived.
the Dr. told me they could not treat such a serious trauma patient at that emergency room so i was rushed to parkland where a trauma team was ready to work on me.
anyone who has watched a tv show with an ER has seen when the ambulence pulls up and there are six or seven people waiting? well, that is true. that is exactly what happened with me.
I was told I had a bursed spinal column and to expect things to get much worse. I remember feeling strenght leaving my arms.
I was eventually taken to ICU where I stayed for 2 days as they gave me massive doses of steriods and other medication.
But prayer was made by the saints of God.
2 days after falling I walked out of the Hospital. Im still walking now.
Being alive is a great thing.

The good things God has done for me? Where do I start? It's overwhelming just to think about all that God has done for me and continues to do for me. He's done so much!
But right off the bat I think of the wonderful friends He's given to me and what a blessing they are/have been.
