Dano knows the only way to get people to look at his two-tone mug is to set himself up next to that auburn-coiffured stunner. In reality Tiffany is a woman that Dano took a picture of years ago and using his skills with wax and make up created this exact duplicate mannequin that he pretends is his wife. The children are also cardboard cut outs to perpetuate the ruse. The pictures are to keep us believeing that Dan has hit the big payday.
The cruise to the Caribbean? Fantasy. All those pictures? Studio touch ups. Renfro is also a made up character---he's Dan's alter ego!
