Furthermore, I figure if I can keep adultery, fornication, and homosexuality out of the church, I will leave the married folks alone.

I looked up what "always" means in Hebrew.

It means "always."

Yeah, some of you are laughing, but the point is, what's excess for one might not be excess for another. This goes for anything, whether it's wine, food, or sex.....or whatever. There are some who can eat a lot and never show it, and others who eat barely anything but are overweight.

Moderation is subjective to the person. There is no objective way to monitor moderation in anything. You can teach it, but only the individual themselves knows if they are practicing it or not.
I'm glad some can tell who is and who isn't a glutton by simply looking at whether or not someone is overweight.

Perhaps we should excercise self-control not only in how much we eat, but also in what types of food we eat.

Just a thought...

Good advice, however, unless one is willing to do physical excersize the type of food that is eaten will not necessarily be enough. I eat healthy food (90% of the time), my cholesterol level is 179 and I'm about 50 lbs overweight. I would most likely lose that weight if I were to find the time (or take the time) to excersize. This is an excuse, but if I weren't so busy with other things that make me exhausted, I would excersize. This doesn't make me a glutton, it just means that I may have to explore other options to lose the weight that makes me look like a glutton. I hope this makes sense.

I hope this means you agreed with my post and not think that I'm one that can tell who is or isn't a glutton.
