What I saw rattled me and so I posted a thread about it.

SOOOOO you want to make McCain responsible for people shouting out terrible things in a crowd of thousands of people?
ISN'T THAT GUILT BY ASSOCIATION?!?!?!??!!? HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??????????
Then I guess it IS perfectly alright to make Obama responsible for the friends he keeps. The only difference, one is a stranger in a crowd, the other is all cozy drinking coffee with Obama in his living room and helping him to launch his career.
Thanks for underscoring the importance of considering "birds of a feather" when voting.

The same argument could be made about the kind of people who support Sen. McCain-- the types of people that prompted this thread in the first place.
No one can say that Sen. McCain or Gov. Palin is racist, even though some of his idiotic supporters are indeed that way.
Following your argument, Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin would be racist.
Of course that's not true.
