Secondly: His followers DEMAND that he lives the way he does? Blithering idiocy.
Third: I'm saddened by his divorce, and I'm saddened for him. No one should have to go through this, not even a complete fraud like him.
Fourth: I've always viewed Benny Hinn, and a long list of other TBN shysters, as a really bad cartoon that won't go away. The only difference between Benny Hinn and Bugs Bunny is, Bugs Bunny doesn't ask people for all their money. One is pretending to be a preacher that can heal, the other is pretending to be a rabbit that can talk.

If I had seen your post first, I would have just ditto'd this. Ridiculously lavish lifestyles aren't necessitated by the number of "followers" someone has. At best, it's a complete lack of responsible and ethical handling of ministry finances.
I couldn't agree more with your points.

It's really impossible to know all the reasons, unless the concerned parties personally make them public.
Divorce is always painful for someone--there's nothing to celebrate.

I never said I agreed with BH theology - I certainly have made that clear to many over the 33 years I have known him. But then again I don't agree with all I have preached in the past 35 years either!
Just to clarify this - Benny Hinn is not a personal friend. He is only an acquaintance. I have never nor do I now agree or sanction his theology.
I continue to preach the Revelation of Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the Flesh. I continue to preach the Revelation of the Power & Presence of Jesus Christ in the Church today. There has always been and will always be One and only One true and living God. I have never baptized anyone in any other way but in the Name of Jesus Christ.
I have had the Baptism of the Holy Ghost for 50 years and teach that being filled with the Holy Ghost is essential to a life of Salvation, Healing, Deliverance and the Blessing of the Lord. I do teach in the present day manifestation of the Five Fold Ministry and in the full restoration of all Supernatural Gifts of the Holy Ghost in the Church today.
