Yeah, it must mean that. I tried speaking life into my golf game today and I still sucked.

What that Proverb meant (ahem, it's a proverb), is that you can speak "a word of faith" and mystical things happen. You can speak for a bonus and it will happen. You can speak for a promotion, a cadillac, a girlfriend, it will happen.

Sounds like PMA to me.

WTH?

The Gospel is life. The Kingdom of God is like a seed, starts out small and insiginificant but grows into something humongous.

Are you perhaps taking the language construct, which is in parable and proverb, and making a formula out of it? Nah... you wouldn't do that.
