Actually, if you look at old pictures from the late 1800s, early 1900s, you will see men and women who were pretty trim. overeating (as I mentioned earlier) is being leptin resistant. Sugar, high carb diets cause leptin resistance. Which leads to a problem where the leptin no longer is able to stop you from eating. In other words because of resistance to this hormone your brain doesn't get the info needed to know you are full. Take a box of cookies, you won't eat just one, you may finish the entire box.

This isn't true. Leptin resistance makes it impossible for your body to behave the way it should.

But isn't that true with everything? From religion to politics. It's human nature to believe your way is the best way. It is how opinions are formed, still facts are facts. If you are eating a diet and are not thriving, have no energy, indigestion, acid reflux, brain fog, fatty liver, insulin resistance and leptin resistance. Then its the food you are eating. Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.”

What would a chisel literally do to a human forehead or right hand? What would happen after someone got hit with an embossing stamp, as a signet?

Anyway, as health, politics, religion, or any other topic under the sun. People have their opinions. They keep the traditions alive as they were told when they were young by parents and mentors. We are told not to discuss religion and politics. The truth of that statement is don't discuss anything among those who are not part of your belief system. Jesus discussed ideas concerning the scriptures which upset long held traditions. He was put to death by those who disagreed with Him. The same holds true for any other topic.

Literal markings would have to be exactly what the scripture says. Therefore it would be NOT branding, NOT injections, NOT a tattoo, NOT a micro chip, NOT a 666 barcode, NOT the Sunday worship. The verse says that they received a chiseled, (literally embossed) image of the Greek letters forming the number 666. You see Revelation is prophetic symbolic language, therefore we can't see these events as literal, but holding symbolic meaning for such events. So the two camps are the literal interpretation, and the symbolic interpretation. No matter what eschatological view one holds they can be in either both camps. Because actually, when it comes to eschatology, most people are all over the place. They have bits of truth some more than others, but sadly even what little we have doesn't make us more evangelistic, but a wee bit insane.
