He's showing his liberalism now, and starting to run a very Obama-Clintonesque campaign. I may be wrong, but if we had a 3 way general of Cruz-Trump-Clinton, I like Cruz' chances.
*BUT* I wonder aloud *IF* Cruz wins the nomination if the GOP leadership doesn't secretly tell Donald he's under no obligation to support the nominee, hint, hint.

I could see him hurting Hillary if he ran 3rd party. However, he has pretty high unfavorable ratings, and that showed in Iowa. I think he knows that. And, yes, he is running a very leftist campaign.
Many in the GOPe have said they would rather have Hillary than Ted. I think that's just talk to keep his polling down.
Ted's example of filibustering the ACA shows that he won't be making deals, and his calling out McConnell for lying with back rooms dealing on the TPA shows that he won't be making deals. They don't like that, BUT if the grassroots can pull him over the finish line, I believe the GOP will get behind him. There's just something about him. I believe he can win this.

Ben Carson’s N.H. super PAC staffers quit to volunteer for Ted Cruz: report
“We hold Dr. Carson in the highest regard,” Mr. Sickles told the station. “This is a man we revere, but we think it is important that our party nominate a conservative and get behind a single conservative who can win, and we strongly believe that candidate is Ted Cruz.”

So Cruz wins Iowa but falls to third in NH? Rubio on the rise it appears, and now is second, behind Trumpertantrum.

The story goes that NH breaks from following Iowa. So, if the polling is true, it isn't surprising.
More good news for the Cruz campaign. The strong get stronger while the weak drop out...even when they pretend they haven't dropped out.

Ted Cruz Scores a Huge New Hampshire Endorsement Ahead of the Primary
New Hampshire Conservative Majority Project (NHCMP)
But, if New Hampshire Conservative Majority Project (NHCMP) has anything to do with it, Ted Cruz will come out on top. The 3.000 member group has thrown its support behind the consistent constitutional conservative while simultaneously hurling a major slam at Marco Rubio.

The fake Ben Carson controversy should end here and now

I am going to walk you through this faux outrage story regarding Ben Carson and Ted Cruz. I’m going to walk you through a timeline but before I do, I need to make sure you know what life is like at an Iowa Caucus.

Ironic that Carson is whining about Cruz and questioning his integrity and Godly character all the while being very dishonest about this himself.

Yes, and troubling as it's another thing for the Left to criticize.

Cruz's Iowa Win In Part Due to Culture of Kindness and Courage at Campaign HQ
Sen. Cruz won for many reasons: his outsider appeal, disciplined message, and sophisticated get-out-the-vote operation. But after two trips to Iowa to volunteer for Cruz, I noticed something else about the Cruz campaign that probably made a difference.
There was something different about the Cruz campaign, including many signs of kindness and courage:
