Our monthly ladies meeting is tonite as well. We have a great meeting planned around the theme of "Spring" including decorating too! It's going to be fun but also inspirational!
Have a skit planned (too funny
), group activity that everyone can be involved in, and other etcs as well. Then time of worship, I'm speaking
and then after that and prayer time we're serving a light dessert lunch ...... fresh fruit, yogurt, crackers, cheese and "dirt" cakes served in clay flower pots. Have small tables set up that the ladies can sit around.
I suggested last month to our ladies committee that we should take up an offering at the meeting. They'd never done that before except on special occasions and weren't too sure about it. But agreed anyhow. We received appro. $150. They were amazed and are now convinced it's a good idea. Ha!
That totally defrayed any expense involved in decorating, etc.
I'm sure the ladies who come out will enjoy the meeting tonite. The last meeting was wonderful with a great attendance and such rich presence of God.
