I can't believe you folks would place open toe shoes-seemless hose-red- short sleeves with baptism in Jesus Name. That is pitiful. But it does show the mindset that happens to folks when they compromise the truth.

I guess in some people's minds we are to do everything but baptize in Jesus name.

I know you are and I don't mean to try and make you break that. I was using one as an example to help show the similarities. I personally have no problems with someone having a dress standard for themselves, but as a corporate thing I am not a fan. I think no matter the issue whether standards, baptism, seperation, tithe, offering, or fasting I believe God will and does deal with the individual.

There are too many godly people who have gone on before to simply make that statement. Furthermore, I don't believe sins are remitted at baptism, but let me get my Bible to check out something brb.......

I know you meant the 'truth'. I think that the truth is relative in a sense. You believe what you believe is truth and I believe what I beleive is truth. There is only 1 truth and that is Jesus. He is the way the TRUTH and the life. The only absolute truth is scripture and history is God/Jesus. The truth about Jesus is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. This Message is also the gospel the gospel is the Truth cause Jesus IS the gospel, Jesus IS the Message, Jesus IS the only Truth!
