I have seen this a number of times. The speaker comes in late, is ushered in by body guards and is escorted out so that no one gets a chance to interact with him/her.
I really detest this. I think it smacks of pride and arrogance.
Is this really necessary?
What could possibly happen to a minister that they need THAT kind of protection?
So do they just come in, minister, get their offering and then split?
This really HONKS me off!!!! (could you tell?)
I read Creflo Dollar does this too...

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Amen Brother,
This whole thread is just kind of weird to me. I have no idea what these folks are talking about. Sounds arrogant to me
he isnt "guarded" at our church, but i do understand what you are saying. there are those that did at one time follow him.
He wasn't guarded at my church either, but he did come late and leave early.
And those who did at one time follow him.....still do. I have known people who traveled across the country from one ocean to the other, going to every conference he attended.

Ya said a mouthful, Dan!!!! I agree wholeheartedly. It seems that these guys lay down their towel and pick up their "sceptre."
Don't see Jesus EVER doing that!!!!!!
If a person is too good to serve, they're too bad to rule. Beware the man of God who doesn't "arm" himself with a towel!!! And you can quote me on that!!!!
