Same here, I feel the same.
It's sad, but true.

The laying on of the left foot of fellowship has helped many a man.

Well, tell you what. You go start a church and do what you feel.

I agree with you and I know very well that the church cannot possibly appropriately financially help every church member that needed help every time they needed help. The church does not have finances for that.

Again, helping people like this is a FULL TIME JOB. Until some of you people get some homeless helper notches on your Bible ribbon, you can all keep quiet and prayer real hard for those who have the street cred.

Hoping you're right. By letting life kick him in the pants, maybe this will help him to recognize.

Does he still have his apartment? Maybe he made enough money working where he knows he can sit for a while? Has he actually asked anyone else to help him?
If the young man IS refusing to work he is committing a sin. Has the SHEPHERD counseled with him over his laziness, pointedly? It seems a bit early in this process if he hasn't even lost his place to be making firm decisions.
Suppose the Charismatic Church down the street takes him in and helps him in his time of need. The young man who apparently was a Oneness believer gets a revelation about love and helping the needy?
Then if he starts attending the Charismatic Church would the Apostolics be happy about that? At least he will no longer be around to pester them! At least the SACRED HOLY TEMPLE was not defiled by a Church member sleeping in it until he did find a job!
So then we move on rejoicing that we are the Apostolic Church.

Bro, it is not about money, not one dime. It is about enabling, and not helping anyone. It is a real spiritual zapper to the church family. yet, if the eldership deem to help a person then praise God let's roll. But if everyone and their mother see the guys a joker and the pastor, and elders say no dice. Then we got to hit knees and pray. Yet, little Johnny has to get a prayer life. NO NO NO JESUS THAT CAN'T HAPPEN TO YOU!!! What did Jesus say?? GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN? That's it, let it lie, and allow the church family to work.

You need to talk to your wife, and to your pastor.
Have a nice day.
