Nah, you are reading me wrong. Its not an issue of "who decides what is higher or lower" That's completely NA
If you decide peanut butter is of the devil and will never eat it again.
And I decide peanut butter is fine, then yours is a stricter standard than mine.
Now maybe "higher and lesser" were not the best words to use, but nevertheless, that's what I used.
Just because yours is stricter, or "higher" doesnt mean either of us is right, or wrong, it just means our standards differ. "Higher standard" and "lesser standard" were not meant as a measurement of commitment, but just a way to describe the differences in our convictions.
BTW, my whole "argument" has nothing to do with using TV to reach the lost, but simply my choice not to have TV in my home. Advertise on TV all you want. And if you want to risk being perceived as the same as all the other loonies on religious TV, feel free to preach on it too. Maybe you can change the perception. I am just saying I have chosen not to have one in my house, and stated the reasons why.

Huh? WHen and where did I sound like I wanted anyone, let alone everyone, to start watching MTV or Myspace? Talk about hissy fits and hysterics

When you deffend something, you give the impresion that you support it.
MTV and Myspace, are part of TV and the internet. (thus my problem with them, and my reason for filtering the web) You deffended TV and the internet so vivdly, it gives the impression you support it.
