this is a good point. either u do it or u don't. i personally don't think there's anything wrong with men in shorts anywhere but to say u don't wear them around your town but u will wear them on vacation makes zero sense. it's like people who rent movies but don't go see them or people who won't order wine in a restaurant but will drink at home...so noone will see them.

oh i know that. sorry if i came across that way...i just get on my soapboxes sometimes. lately i've just been irritated by some of people's inconsistencies. i should've clarified that i wasn't directing anything specifically at u. just wear some modest shorts and for goodness sakes, leave the speedo at home!

Whats the point of Pentecostals even going to the beach or at least those of us who abide by outward standards that many oneness churches teach ? Why not just do something else and not place yourself in the situation in the first place.
The beach is not a real Godly place to begin with. ESPECIALLY not a place for kids eyes to see women in thongs and I dont mean the kind you wear on your feet either.

Oh please. Spare me. I am sure your place of employment isn't a very godly place either, if you work outside of the church or your home. Who cares about someone else wearing a thong at the beach anyway? Learn to keep your flesh under subjection, like the Bible says you should, and a chick in a thong won't be an issue.
