Why do you wear makeup, if you do?

I wear rings, watches (many watches, all colors), occassionaly bracelets or necklaces.Why?
It's fun. It looks pretty. I enjoy it.

Many years ago it was the thing for all the ladies to have a bright pretty scarf on their dress.....UPC acceptable necklace

And yes, a modest woman whom people look up to could influence younger women to want to desire to also be modest. This is GOOD WORKS. You're exclusive interpretation of "good works" to mean feeding the poor is quite limited.

Oh please...don't get preachy. The older women are an example to younger women, and modesty is in dress as well as in conversation, but the Bible teaches modesty and moderation - NOT homliness and abstinance.

We always found a way to look beautiful:
* expensive outfits
* putting DR Pepper Lip gloss on our cheeks for rouge
* Pins, scarves
* stupid hairdoes...like the ones I have seen on face book.
* expensive watches with diamonds in them in place of engagement rings
* trimming your hair but wearing it up for 3 months til it wasn't so noticable anymore
